Bessy Martinez

The Latina Foundation

Bessy Martinez is a Salvadoran-born community builder, entrepreneur, and media creator dedicated to advancing Latina leadership, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility. She is the Founder and Director of Impact for The Latina Foundation, a grass-root nonprofit organization committed to creating access, resources, and community-driven pathways for Latinas to thrive in business, leadership, and life.

Through signature programs such as Jefas on the Move, Latina Day Weekend, and House of Chingonas, Bessy has built platforms that connect thousands of Latina entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives with mentorship, education, and opportunities to grow. Her work centers on breaking generational barriers, amplifying underrepresented voices, and building sustainable ecosystems of support for women and immigrant communities.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Bessy leads The Everyday Jefa & Co., a Latina-centered media and empowerment brand that highlights storytelling, culture, and entrepreneurship through digital content, events, and multimedia platforms. She is also a speaker, podcast host, and aspiring author who shares her journey as a first-generation immigrant, mother, and entrepreneur to inspire others to build legacy-driven lives and businesses.

Bessy is passionate about cross-sector collaboration, community-driven economic development, and creating inclusive spaces where Latinas are seen, heard, and supported. Her work is rooted in the belief that when Latinas thrive, families and communities prosper.
