Bessy Martinez

The Latina Foundation

Bessy Martinez is a Latina strategist, speaker, and founder building leadership, visibility, and community at the intersection of culture, wellness, and entrepreneurship.

She is the founder of The Latina Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing Latina leadership, personal development, and entrepreneurship through programs, community initiatives, and large-scale events across Texas. Through this work, she has architected spaces that support Latina founders and leaders at multiple stages of growth.

Bessy is also the founder of The Everyday Jefa & Co., a media and empowerment platform that blends storytelling, strategy, and lived experience to support women—especially Latinas and working mothers—in leading and building legacy without burnout. Through speaking, media, and live experiences, she explores leadership, visibility, and sustainable success in real life—not just highlight reels.

As a certified Human Design practitioner, this work has deeply influenced how she leads, builds, and lives. It has supported her in trusting her energy, making aligned decisions, and navigating entrepreneurship, motherhood, and everyday life with greater intention and clarity. She now helps others reconnect with their own design so they can move with confidence, alignment, and authenticity in both life and business.

Her work has been recognized by Austin Woman Magazine as a two-time Change Maker, and she was honored with an official City of Austin proclamation declaring May 8th as Bessy Martinez Day for community impact and leadership.

Across everything she builds, Bessy focuses on creating pathways where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to lead authentically—professionally, personally, and culturally.

Bessy is passionate about cross-sector collaboration, community-driven economic development, and creating inclusive spaces where Latinas are seen, heard, and supported. Her work is rooted in the belief that when Latinas thrive, families and communities prosper.
